Highgrove Care Home
We understand that moving into residential care can be a difficult decision, but at Highgrove we have a wealth of experience in understanding emotions and feelings that are expressed at such times. We hope to alleviate our potential residents’ apprehension by offering to spend the day with us so as to make a more informed choice.
Our potential residents can spend the time getting to know the staff and enjoy lunch with the other guests in the happy atmosphere that Highgrove provides.
Time can be spent taking part in the activities provided or relaxing quietly reading, watching a film or getting to know other people and making friends.
On moving in, we encourage our residents to bring their own personal belongings including furniture to help familiarise themselves with their new surroundings.

Highgrove is a beautiful country house set in well maintained mature secluded gardens overlooking extensive countryside. A lovely place to live.
Location
Situated between Wimborne and Ferndown and just north of Bournemouth, it provides a convenient location to the surrounding areas whilst being tucked away off the beaten track.

Highgrove is tastefully decorated throughout - lounge & dining areas, secluded private grounds and patio area are available for residents benefit.
Visiting services to the home include an experienced hair stylist, qualified chiropodist, reflexologist, optician, dentist and beautician.
A varied programme of communal activities takes place in the home and individual preferences are catered for.
Visitors welcome at any time.
Bedrooms are attractively furnished with en suite facilities.
Highgrove provides taylor made ‘person centred’ care planning involving residents’ views, decisions and preferences regarding their care.
Catering is to a high quality with appetising menus. Meals are traditional, nutritious and well balanced with choices for our residents’ individual needs.
